🚨 Getting Trained in Infant & Child First Aid
In an emergency (choking, cardiac arrest, burns), panic takes the wheel and every single second counts. Skimming a cheat sheet or scrambling through a YouTube tutorial at 3 AM won't cut it: proper hands-on training makes all the difference. Get ahead of the game during pregnancy or in the early months.
What you'll learn in training
- Choking: recognizing a complete airway obstruction and mastering back blows and chest thrusts.
- Unconsciousness: placing an infant in the recovery position and checking their breathing.
- Respiratory & cardiac arrest: performing baby- and child-specific CPR (tailored rescue breaths and chest compressions).
- Everyday household accidents: dealing with burns, nasty falls, sudden spikes in fever, and accidental poisonings.
